The Position
The Assistant Manager – Marketing supports the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and achieve business objectives. This role involves coordinating campaigns, analyzing market trends, managing digital platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging. Marketing Assistant, Coordinator and Specialist will report on this role.

The Position
The Assistant Manager – Marketing supports the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and achieve business objectives. This role involves coordinating campaigns, analyzing market trends, managing digital platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging. Marketing Assistant, Coordinator and Specialist will report on this role.
Accountabilities
- Assist in planning and implementing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights. Present Competitor activities and existing industry trends province wide to the Sales Managers & Marketing Director every six months.
- Support social media platforms and oversee content creation to boost engagement.
- Coordinate with design and content teams for promotional materials and advertisements.
- Track campaign performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.
- Support event planning, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing communications.
- Assist in developing, planning, and implementing marketing initiatives that support the company's objectives and brand image.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development, events and sales, to ensure that marketing initiatives align with business plans.
- Oversee the activities of marketing teams to ensure assigned tasks and set goals are achieved.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
- Assist in organizing promotional events and product launches.
- Maintain and update marketing databases and CRM systems.
- Other Marketing projects assigned by the reporting Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalencies of experience and education will be considered.
- 5 + years experience in marketing with team management accountability
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Window and Door Industry knowledge and experience will be considered strong asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
