Durabuilt Windows & Doors seeks a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth through coaching, empowerment, and strategic leadership of a regional sales team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the building materials and construction industry, particularly in the mid-to-luxury sectors, combined with strong relationships within the construction community and a proven track record of independent success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE METRICS

Team Coaching & Development (35%)
• Coach and mentor the sales force to enhance their capabilities
• Create a culture of ongoing personal development focused on product knowledge and soft skills
• Key measurements: Team participation, customer call completion rates, sales closure rates, and product knowledge

Customer Relationships & Marketing (30%)
• Maintain and develop key customer relationships that drive revenue growth
• Work in conjunction with the Marketing team to develop tailored customer solutions and localized marketing initiatives
• Coordinate and execute customer events that leverage the 4P's of marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion)
• Key measurements: Market share, revenue, and profitability

Market Analysis & Sales Coverage (20%)
• Provide ongoing market outlook projections and establish corresponding regional sales coverage strategies
• Develop an in-depth understanding of regional market dynamics, including product sales potential, industry segmentation, and competitive landscape
• Design and implement a sales coverage model that maximizes sales and profit in line with regional objectives
• Key measurements: 90-day forecast accuracy and effectiveness of sales coverage structure

Business Management (15%)
• Manage other business matters related to sales profitability and growth, including commissions administration, safety compliance, policy implementation, reporting, and HR matters


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Sales Management
• In-depth knowledge of the sales management process, including opportunity identification, forecasting, market and competitive positioning, and pricing programs
• Strong negotiating and financial business acumen

Product & Market Knowledge
• In-depth product and market knowledge of windows and doors
• Understanding of the building materials and construction industry

Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Business applications
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solutions and applications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of relevant experience in sales and/or marketing
• Postsecondary education (preferred)
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams
• Demonstrated success in building customer relationships and driving revenue growth
